Ikos Oceania

Greece

Discover the ultimate luxury all-inclusive holiday at northern Greece’s Ikos Oceania, a dreamy setting where expertly kept gardens tumble down to a private Blue Flag beach lapped by the Mediterranean Sea.

This stunning natural setting is matched by an experience that is distinctly ‘Ikos’: Infinite Lifestyle. The ultimate all-inclusive package, it boasts everything from Michelin-starred menus in the restaurants to children’s clubs and a beachside childcare service. Other highlights are the 24-hour room service, wine and cocktails, a food and beverage service by the pool or on the beach and evening entertainment.

Running alongside the award-winning experience for guests is a focus on encouraging them to explore the local area, such as the Dine Out option and Culture Pass that are included in the Infinite Lifestyle package.

Families have been thought of in every detail, with the Worldwide Kids operated clubs accepting babies from four months old. There are swimming pools for younger guests too and even a beachside childcare service.

Whether staying for a romantic break for two or a school holiday family getaway, Ikos Oceania receives rave reviews from its guests.

Stay

Dotted among the resort’s 15 acres of gardens are the 290 rooms and suites. All benefit from air conditioning, a terrace or balcony, hot drink making facilities and a bathrobe and slippers.

The double room accommodates two adults and boasts a large bathroom as well as a private, furnished terrace, perfect to sit and enjoy a morning coffee. Floor to ceiling windows make the room feel bright.

With views of the Aegean Sea, the deluxe two bedroom family suite with private garden has a huge amount of space, with two bathrooms, a dining and living area, as well as a furnished terrace.

Eat

Ikos is a luxury brand renowned for its exceptional food and beverage choices for guests, and that’s no different at Oceania. Four à la carte restaurants are on site, or the Dine Out experience allows guests to make the most of a handpicked collection of nearby eateries.

Ouzo is all about contemporary Greek fare, while Fresco offers favourites from Italy. Anaya focuses on Asian cuisine, including Chinese and Indian dishes, while Provence brings the culinary journey back to Europe with cuisine famed by the French region. A great option for families is the buffet at Flavors, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Explore

It takes around 40 minutes from Thessaloniki International Airport to reach the luxurious setting of Ikos Oceania following a 3.5 hour flight from the UK.

Why here?

The Blue Flag awarded beach with its unspoilt stretch of sand lapped by the Mediterranean is certainly a highlight. Reserved for guests of the resort, there is no added cost for the sunbeds, towels, food or drink that’s provided by the waiting on staff. Ikos Beach Life is a service for parents, where children are cared for whilst they take a little time for themselves.

Swimming pools are available for all, including tots, kids and adults-only, as well as a heated indoor pool and a private pool reserved for Deluxe Collection guests.

Chill with a treatment at the Ikos Spa by Anne Semonin, just the place to get away from it all.

There is a vast selection of sporting equipment, classes and facilities included in a stay at Ikos Oceania, such as Pilates, mountain bikes, yoga and tennis.

Our take

Add some ‘wow’ to a stay at Ikos Oceania with a Panorama Junior Suite, accommodation designed to showcase the finest views of Mount Olympus and the Aegean Sea.

Exploring the wider Halkidiki area is a must during any stay, think pine forests, golden sands, impossibly blue waters and traditional Greek authenticity that permeates everything from dining to architecture. The hotel can arrange a MINI Drive adventure to enhance the exploring opportunities locally.

Access to museums in the area is complimentary for resort guests – a great way to open young minds to Greek history.
