Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf, Dubai

Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf

Dubai

Among meandering waterways and serene gardens, Dubai’s Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf offers a more private, premium experience within the sprawling Madinat Jumeirah complex, with guests staying in Arabian-style, two-storey summerhouses just steps from the beach.

The setting focuses very much on tranquility, with water taxis transporting guests around the resort and the feeling of a desert oasis resonating in the dreamily designed rooms, suites and villas.

Guests staying at any of the four properties within Madinat Jumeirah can enjoy the facilities at the other hotels, which means choosing from a selection of more than 40 restaurants, bars and coffee outlets, as well as the boutiques, spa and kids’ club. Oh and then there’s the complimentary access to the Wild Wadi Waterpark too!

Dar Al Masyaf at Madinat Jumeirah is a superb choice for guests seeking an indulgent Dubai break with added quiet, authenticity and space, yet just moments away from attractions including the Mall of the Emirates and the Dubai Marina.

It takes just under 7 hours to get to Dubai from the UK, with direct flights from both London and Manchester. Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf is half an hour’s transfer from the international airport, and the hotel is located just ten minutes from a selection of the city’s best attractions, including the mall.
Guests enjoy free access to the Wild Wadi Waterpark so a day enjoying the thrills of the rides there is a must-do. Access around the Madinat Jumeirah resort can be experienced via its waterways in traditional abras (water taxis).

Why here?

The summerhouses have a butler who is on hand to support with reservations and to serve the pre-dinner drinks and nibbles which guests enjoy free each evening.

Waterbabies will love the kids’ pools, but there are also a number of swimming pools (some exclusive to guests of the hotel) and of course the beach to relax and soak up the Dubai rays, cooling off for a dip in the water.

The Talise Spa is a gem in the Madinat’s crown, a haven of tranquillity where top treatments use the finest products.

Souk Madinat has a wealth of shops and boutiques and this is also home to many of the restaurants and bars.

Fitness facilities are excellent, with a dedicated centre, tennis courts and even a rock climbing wall!

An onsite theatre creates a place for live entertainment, with musical, theatrical, comedic and dance performances on the line-up.

Our take

Guests love the serene transport of the water taxis, but should you need to get somewhere quicker just call your butler and they’ll take you anywhere on the resort in a golf buggy.

The hotel is excellently placed for the beach – which just happens to be the longest stretch of private sands in Dubai.

Every summerhouse has a majlis – a place to meet and enjoy the complimentary drinks and nibbles served up by your butler every evening.
