Meeting the discerning desires of grown-up guests too, Porto Sani offers a space where families can holiday together in style.
Having been recently updated, the 148 suite hotel is at the heart of the resort, with all the award-winning facilities right on its doorstep and just a toddler-friendly stroll from the Sani Marina.
Suites can be made ready for little ones with all their paraphernalia in-situ on arrival. Kids’ stations feature in the restaurants, with dishes designed my weaning guru Annabel Karmel. And parents can get a break on Sea You Beach (just steps from Porto Sani) thanks to the complimentary Babewatch service.
What’s more, the updates at this particular hotel have enhanced the accommodation so that separate bedrooms, enclosed private gardens and easy access to the lagoon-style swimming and kids’ pools better meet the needs of young families.Gallery
Stay
Perfect for families, Porto Sani at the Sani Resort has 148 redone suites that have been created with the needs of parents and younger guests in mind. Many of the suites here have an enclosed private garden - an excellent alternative to a private pool for parents of preschoolers.
For larger families, blended families or those travelling with extended family, roomier suites have three bedrooms, or two one bedroom suites can be seamlessly interconnected. There are four suites available for guests with additional access needs.
All one, two and three bedroom Family Suites have a private garden or spacious balcony, with view options of the Sani Marina, gardens or lagoon-style pools.
The 24-hour room service is very handy for snacks and warm milk before bed, and extras such as cots and high chairs can be waiting in your suite on arrival.
Eat
The dining really packs a punch at the Sani Resort and for families the choice of restaurants is a real draw. Especially given that the Dine Around programme – available as either full or half board – means that after breakfast in their resident hotel, guests can choose from the other 22 restaurants at Sani for lunch and dinner.
Porto Sani has one of the resort’s most special eateries, El Puerto. Head here for dinner to savour Michelin-starred chef David Ibarboure’s tastes of Spain.
For kids the hotel’s Artemis Restaurant, open for three meals a day, is a dinner winner. Think buffet style with cooking stations for children. Or there are smoothies, sandwiches and snacks within easy reach of the pool at the Sea Breeze Bar.
