Sani Club, Sani Resort

Greece
Set amid ancient olive groves with dreamy views of the sea, Sani Club offers luxurious low-level accommodation, indoor and outdoor pools, a new restaurant and a private white sand beach lapped by the clear, warm waters of the Aegean.

The new double rooms are the most spacious in their class at the Sani Resort, while a selection of suites have their own swimming pool.

Thanks to its vantage point on the hills surrounding the resort the views are spectacular, with some of the accommodation options looking over to Mount Olympus in the distance. What’s more, being on the edge of the estate means Sani Club has additional space for extra amenities; like its own heated children’s pool and onsite crèche and kids’ club, which make it a popular choice for families. Many guests staying with children choose the redone one and two-bedroom family suites. Plus the 1km of beach is Blue Flag awarded, making it the perfect spot for paddling and sand castles.

Located as it is, guests of Sani Club are in the best position for a walk in the surrounding olive groves and forest, with wildlife sightings likely. Or an amble along the beachfront to Sani Marina takes just 15 minutes.

Stay

The Sani Club has recently been updated and each bungalow has its own private pool or garden. The 253 guestrooms have views of the sea or gardens. And there are options for families thanks to the one and two bedroom suites. Sani Club is also home to the most spacious double rooms at the resort, all with pool or beach access.

As standard all accommodations at Sani Club have: a terrace, private garden or balcony with furniture; bathroom with shower and bathtub; Dream Beds and a pillow menu; free Wifi; air conditioning / heating; a mini bar and safe; an espresso machine and coffee and tea making facilities; and a complimentary bottle of Sani Gourmet Land of Grace wine.

Eat

Guests at all of the Sani Resort hotels have access to more than twenty restaurants. Within Sani Club are four a la carte options, a buffet restaurant, three bars and 24-hour room service.

The Greek themed nights at Ouzerie are not to be missed. Open for lunch and dinner it serves traditional dishes and plenty of tempting fresh seafood.

Families love the buffets at Olympos Restaurant which have a superb range of dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also open for three meal times a day is Cabana with its menu of dishes inspired by the Cote d’Azur, like blue crab risotto with sundried tomatoes, lemon confit and marjoram.

Pines and Club Lounge both focus their menus on organic produce from within a 100km radius of the Sani Resort.

Explore

Located at the edge of the resort within ancient olive groves, Sani Club has its own beach and view out over the Aegean to Mount Olympus.

Sani Resort is on the Kassandra peninsular in Halkidiki, northern Greece, just 50 minutes by car from the nearest airport.

There’s plenty to explore and do within the resort, but for a real taste of the locality you can take a guided driving tour, which is included in the package price for some guests. There are regular transfers to Sani Dunes and it’s just a 15-minute beachfront walk to Sani Marina from Sani Club.

For a view of Greece you’ll never forget, set sail from the marina on a private yacht charter with your very own crew to see to your every whim.

Our take

Sani takes climate change seriously and its commitment to the environment has seen the resort named the World’s Leading Luxury Green Resort and the first carbon neutral resort in Greece.

One of the many academies at Sani Resort focuses on triathlon, with personalised training plans where participants can swim in the Aegean and run and cycle through the estate. All kit is provided plus extras including a diet programme and running t-shirt.
