So if you’re heading there for your hols, why not have a read of our eight most Instagrammable locations in Dubai? Full-proof backdrops to get those influencer-worthy social snaps…
So number one has to be the world’s tallest building for sure. Head to the top for a 360 degree view of the city. Or if you haven’t got a head for heights there’s plenty of angles to choose from in Downtown Dubai where this architectural masterpiece will stand proud in the background of your photo.
And while you’re in the area, you can also take advantage of two other Insta-worthy hotspots; the Dubai Fountain (which looks particularly spectacular lit-up at night) and the Wings of Mexico. The latter is a bronze sculpture strategically placed in front of Downtown’s best landmarks; so you can snap a shot of yourself looking like an angel at one of Dubai’s best vantage points.
With its white sands and Dubai views, Jumeirah Beach is a particularly beautiful spot to get some snaps. If you’re lucky enough to be staying at Jumeirah Beach Hotel then there are suites which lead straight onto the sand – perfect for getting those exclusive snaps with no one in the background.
This show-stopping aquarium will certainly inspire your snaps. With 11 exhibits to use as a sea life backdrop, some 250 species to spot in the Ambassador Lagoon; as well as plenty of enhanced experiences – like ‘underwater’ yoga and lagoon-side dining – we reckon Atlantis, The Palm’s marine world is just the spot for your finest Instagram posts.
Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf is a unique resort where summerhouses and traditional-style buildings are interwoven by waterways. Guests can take a water taxi along these canals to get around the resort, which as you can imagine make for dreamy settings to snap a photo or two. If you’re not staying at the resort then a traditional dhoni trip in the Arabian Gulf will also provide ample picture opportunities against the Dubai skyline.
An excursion out into the desert is a must-do while you’re staying in the city. The concierge at your hotel will be able to arrange everything for your trip into the Arabian desert, with dune bashing, a sunset barbecue, and even camel riding… all the perfect activities for an Insta post or two.
Reopening at the end of September 2022 is Jumeirah Beach Hotel’s rooftop bar, Floor 24. This lofty garden setting is a dreamy spot for 360 degree views of the city, perfectly placed for capturing an evening shot of the legendary Burj Al Arab luxury resort. What’s more, there’s always a buzz at this bar, with events and DJs on the schedule to really add to the party spirit. Grab your girls and head here on a Wednesday for Ladies’ Night, or ‘Salute the Sunset’ with the cheeky happy hour offer between 4pm and 7pm.
Finally we’ve chosen one of Dubai’s record-breaking attractions; the Dubai Miracle Garden, the world’s largest natural flower garden flowers (open from November to May). Among the 150 million blooms you’ll discover Insta-backdrops aplenty to inspire your posts, with stunning arrangements and imaginative flower sculptures. Oh and next door is the Dubai Butterfly Garden too!
